I have never been a healthy eater, and when I was 16 I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. At 16 I had an under-active thyroid. Not good. In runs in the family, so it wasn't that surprising but still...
This past January I set a goal for myself: to finally get off this medication. I'm not completely sure it will work, but I am going to damn well try! I don't want to spend the rest of my life on medication if I don't have to. If eating better and working out more can help reduce my dosage or get rid of it all together I will be one happy girl!
